Low back, coccyx, pelvic and pubic symphysis pain, neck and shoulder pain, headaches, rib pain, and sacroiliac and hip pain.

Osteopathy may assist the natural process of pregnancy and birth by helping the body adapt and align as pregnancy progresses. Muscles and ligaments soften as hormonal changes increase flexibility in the spine and pelvis.
Pelvic Girdle Pain (formerly known as SPD) is common, though not normal, and its severity varies. Osteopathy can help normalise and balance the pelvis, reducing or even eliminating symptoms if seen early enough.
During birth, the mother's pelvis may be twisted or rigid, which can affect the baby's passage through the birth canal. A pre-birth check at 37 to 38 weeks is beneficial to assess pelvic mobility ahead of delivery.
